There’s plenty of restaurants vying for the title of Sydney’s best fine dining restaurant. My favourite however is Est. Housed on the second floor of The Establishment on George St it’s one of only five restaurants in Sydney to be awarded 3 Hats by the Good Food Guide this year. Peter Gilmore’s food is sophisticated and delicious; five courses into a degustation dinner and I’m was still scraping every last morsel off the plate. The dining room harks back to the plush fine dining establishments of Europe and New York, yet still remains intimate enough not to be intimidating.
