Take an excursion to the jungle west of Hua Hin close to the Burmese border. The surrounding forest is over 1,000 years old and there is a good chance of seeing wildlife, particularly gibbons (which will certainly be heard, if not seen) and many rare species of bird-life. The trek follows the stream to the Pala-U waterfall in several stages – take it at your own pace depending on how energetic you are feeling.
