TULUM.

Cenotes.

By Juliana Reesby

There are literally thousands of underground ‘cenotes’ across the Yucatan Peninsula, and swimming in one is a must-do activity while in Tulum.

One of the more special activities I took part in was swimming in the natural spring water in the Cenotes around Tulum. These are completely underground and the rocks are covered with stalactites and stalagmites. It’s an eerie feeling walking down into the dark caves – but the experience is an unforgettable one.
