Renowned for its superb coffee and delicious little morsels that surpass even Sydney’s revered foodie reputation, The Grounds are located in an old pie factory established in the early 1900s and serve as the flagship store as well as the brand’s coffee roasterie. Here you can sit outside amongst the luscious garden where heirloom vegetables grow and fresh produce is on display everywhere you look. The interior otherwise pays homage to its origins with its timeless, industrial appeal and original features.
There are amazing pastries and an abundance of treats on offer, while the rustic menu is best experienced in the morning. You’d do well to try the brekkie burger or sweet pea falafel with poached eggs. Both are delicious and are even better when accompanied with a decent cup of joe on the side – you best get in early for a piece of the action.
