This is a wonderfully appointed bar that you gain access to via a small, mysterious door on Courtenay place. After walking up a set of stairs, you’ll find yourself in a dinky lit bar, surrounded by book shelves stacked with books. Grab a booth, table or bar leaner and wait for the personable staff to provide you with a cocktail or high-end beverage of choice. It’s a great bar for catching up with people as the atmosphere lends itself to conversing and time tends to disappear very quickly. Also, if you get hungry Chow is conveniently located right next-door.
