Sydney has been well overdue for a designer boutique hotel that targets the hip crowd and the QT is it. The new cool kid on the block. QT is located in the heart of the city and prides itself on being youthful and humorous. Overseen by the aptly titled ‘Director of Chaos’, the entertaining staff are more than your average chambermaids and are more likely to be found whistling for a cab on the street clad in sexy little black dresses. The chaotic theme is prevalent in the design too, with striking pieces of furniture doing double duty as impressive works of art. The design team spent a lengthy 18 months scouring international auctions and eBay in order to procure their wonderful mix of wunderkammer that makes the interiors and its 200 guest rooms so compelling. QT is set to be wildly popular with those looking for a bit more va-va-voom on their weekend escape.
