This year Sydney’s Double Bay became home to the city’s second Saké restaurant, following on from its original flagship location at The Rocks. The new-style Japanese eatery is housed at the base of the Inter-Continental hotel and features a luxurious interior with numerous marble surfaces and natural-toned wooden seating. The menu is a varied mixture of iconic Japanese-styles of cuisine – there’s the incredibly delicious sushi (that’s created by Saké’s own Sushi Masters) and a custom-built robata grill that churns out numerous delectable meat skewers. The caramelised miso cod is definitely a menu highlight, and the popcorn shrimp is not to be missed!
