Nestled in a corner site on Albion Street in Surry Hills, Chur Burger is the latest Sydney offering from renowned kiwi chef Warren Turnbull, the talent behind such great establishments as District Dining, Mexico and Sydney’s acclaimed Assiette. Chur Burger is a takeaway burger joint serving up a selection of gourmet burgers to ravenous locals.

With just six burgers currently on offer, their menu includes mouth-watering flavour combinations that you’ll find hard to pass up. We’re particularly fond of their crumbed Chatham Island blue cod burger, with pickled cucumber, lemon mayo and dill on a soft brioche bun. The pulled pork burger is another hit, with Chur BBQ sauce, red slaw and fennel mayo. They’re also kindly catering to the vegetarian crowd, with a spiced chickpea pattie, grated beetroot, honey labne and coriander offering – and all for only $10.

And with no burger complete without a healthy dose of side dishes, may we recommend you try their hot, crispy chips with smoked chilli salt, certain to hit the spot, washed down with a Heilala vanilla milkshakes. It’s a sweet finish to a tasty burger and fries chow down.

Open: Monday 11:30am – 5pm , Tues – Sat 11:30am – 10pm, Sunday Closed.
