SAN FRANCISCO.

Mosto.

By Sophie Burton

Tequila trumps all other liquors at this lively San Francisco hang out.

Its Mission district location gives you a fair idea of what it’s all about, and their cool witted obsession with tequila does the rest. Welcome to tequila, or rather, MOSTO, a narrow, dimly lit and often crowded specialty bar, where there are 300 plus tequilas and mescals to quaff. Their sake-style service of tequila in mini carafes eliminates the tax of heading back to the bar for more drinks, and you can also order from a taco menu, a outpost of sorts from the adjacent Tacolicious eatery, which is also one of owner Joe Hargrove’s spots.
