Upon arriving at Mornington Peninsula’s newest luxury art hotel, guests are immediately confronted by a staggering seven-metre horned Jackalope. A sculpture from Australian artist Emily Floyd, the mythical creature is merely a taste of what is to come at this 46-room escape. Art, design and a sense of storytelling permeate every aspect of the wine country retreat, from the custom-created furniture adorning the suites, to the inventive fare being plated within its two restaurants. Capitalising on location by inviting guests on ‘immersive wine experiences’ at its Rare Hare cellar door, this luxury stay is in a league of its own.
