Jose Centeno is the king of food in downtown LA. His spots Baco Mercat (upscale Spanish tapas) and Orsa and Winston (fine dining, a la carte and also 12-21 degustation) are outstanding, but Bar Amá is my pick. It has one of the most reputable tequila selections in the city, complimented with impressive and inventive Mexican fare and of course, each dish has a Centeno twist.
