Potato Head Beach Club. This place hasn’t been open a year but after receiving five different recommendations, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. You’re immediately met with a huge exterior wall of re-purposed window shutters. The entire bar and restaurant are filled with the owner’s fanatical collection of 1950s Scandinavian and Indonesian furniture. But it’s not all about the design, it’s as much about their extensive cocktail menu, their regular International DJ sets and the pool just metres from the beach (in which we hosted an impromptu swimming race). Don’t muck around, just get any one of their punch bowls, park up on a lounger and feast on some parmesan fries.
