Drawing inspiration from contemporary Tokyo Izakayas – Japanese drinking establishment that also serve food – the duo behind the Apollo restaurant, Sam Christie and Jonathan Barthelmess, have embarked upon their newest culinary venture. Cho Cho San offers Sydney-siders an authentic oriental dining experience located within Potts Point in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

Based on a multi-dimensional Japanese philosophy in which ingredients are kept simple and seasonal, Christie and Barthelmess joined forces with Head Chef Nicholas Wong (Rockpool Bodega and Ester) to create some standout dishes. The humble yet punchy cocktail list is equally as transitional and bound to leave punters impressed.
