A visit to Queenstown is not complete without an evening spent at Botswana Butchery. Located in historic Archers Cottage overlooking Lake Wakatipu, the space is sectioned off into smaller cosy dining areas both upstairs and down, offering options perfect for both intimate dinners or rowdy get togethers with large groups.
Specialising in a wide range of meats, Botswana is the ideal location to while away the evening on important tasks like reloading on protein and sustenance before another day on the slopes. The menu is heavy on locally sourced prime cuts of beef, lamb, poultry and seafood all served with traditional steak house accompaniments like onion rings, creamed spinach and duck fat roasted potatoes. The wine list is one of the best in the region and makes the most of the direct access they have to some of the area’s most sought after and internationally coveted wines.
