An extension of the Rodd & Gunn clothing empire, The Lodge Bar is the place to hunker down with a deep glass of Syrah on cold winter’s day. Warmed by a roaring indoor fire and plethora of woollen blankets and animal hides that are strategically strewn throughout, it is an unexpected aprés ski stop off, right in the centre of town.
Located on the lakefront side of the Rodd & Gunn retail store, the perfect setting is made all the better by the seasonal menu designed by famed Kiwi chef Matt Lambert of New York City’s Michelin-starred Musket Room. Alongside the delectable menu is a highly-considered curation of our country’s finest wines and rare varietals selected exclusively by master sommelier Cameron Douglas.
