Get a snow cone from the original snow cone place. In fact, Ernest Hansen invented the first shaved ice machine in 1939 and the store continues to be run by his descendants today. Sadly Sno-Bliz was closed during our visit in winter (be sure to check the website before you go) but the peaches and cream sno balls garner the rave reviews. It is also the perfect way to finish off a po-boy from Domilise’s, which is only a short walk away.
